We discussed FamilyFest. The weather was fantastic that weekend. We brought in over $40,000 in the raffle. There were some bugs that need to be ironed out, but ran pretty smoothly. A silent action was mentioned as a way to raise a few more dollars. All of the Men's Club members filled in where needed and did a great job.

We will hold a chili dinner on Jan. 29 again this year. We are hoping for some really cold weather.

The teachers are having a Tuscany Night on Nov. 7th. We will see if they want us to help out.

October 17th Jim Smith is looking for some help filling in the poles with cement that were put up to protect the new electric box. Brian Bessler, Chris Martin, Jim Dietz and Mike Hettinger helped out.

Under the heading of any new ideas. Brian suggested an internet 50/50 raffle. Someone in Joliet is running several right now and it seems to be very successful. Brian will get more info on this so that we can pass this by Fr. Pete and the powers that be. (Brian did pass along the info to Bob and he will check on it).

Our next meeting will be held on Nov. 19 at 7pm at Tradition's
