In preparation for our Lenten and Easter Season, St. Patrick's Church in Joliet is honored to host our Winter Parish Mission with guest presenter Hector Molina, one of the more up and coming national speakers who will lead the mission from February 11-15. Héctor Antonio Molina, Jr. is a dynamic bilingual lay Catholic speaker and evangelist with over 20 years of experience in professional pastoral ministry and leadership in the Church. From the age of 15, Hector has devoted himself to responding to Blessed John Paul II's call for a "New Evangelization". It was during his early years as a Youth Minister that Héctor discerned his call to lay ecclesial ministry. He pursued his theological studies at St. John's University while serving as Pastoral Associate at the historic St. John the Baptist Parish in his home Diocese of Brooklyn. He served in this capacity for over a decade before relocating to the Archdiocese of St. Louis where he served for six years under the episcopal leadership of then Archbishop Raymond Leo Burke, both as Director of Hispanic Ministry and later as founding Director of The Office for the New Evangelization.

As the Joliet Diocese continues to provide workshops on the New Evangelization movement in 2012, you are most welcome to join us at St. Pat's and feel the power of God's love during our parish mission. A free will offering will be taken during each of our presentations to offset costs. St. Patrick's Church is located at 710 West Marion Street in Joliet. Please call (815) 727-4746 for more information.
